Day 1: Arrival at Cochin International Airport

Day 2: Cochin To Athirappilly (60 Km, 2 Hours) Weather: 25 °C
Today, we will take you to what is popularly known as ‘The Niagara Falls of India’ among tourists. Upon arriving at Athirappily you will be checked into the hotel for taking a break before heading out to see the one of the most magnificent waterfalls in India, which is situated on the Chalakudy river running through Kerala’s Thrissur district. It falls from a height of 80 feet and the Chalakudy river which at to the Sholayar forest range. After this you will be taken on a short drive to another fascinating waterfall location called the Vazhachal Waterfalls, which is home to many rare and endangered species of flora and fauna.

Day 3: Athirappilly To Munnar (130 Km, 4 Hours) Weather: 19 °C
Today, you will be on your way to Munnar, popularly referred to as ‘Kashmir of South India’. You can relax upon checking in and be on their way for some sightseeing activities. Munnar is a popular hill station located in the Idukki district of Kerala, India. Thousands of tourists visit this scenic destination every year to witness the majestic sprawling green hills, the historic tea plantations, beautiful waterfalls and the rare flora and fauna that is home to this magnificent piece of land in God’s own country. Perched at an altitude of 6000 ft in Idukki district, Munnar became a popular summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers during the days of colonial rule. Located on the southern fringes of the Western Ghats, Munnar is spread over an area of 557 square kilometers making it the largest Panachayats.

Day 4: Munnar
Second day at Munnar, you will be visiting some of the popular tourist attractions in Munnar like the Flower garden, Tea Factory and the Kundala Dam. Each of these locations offers you unique opportunities to explore and indulge the local cuisines, sights and sounds. You can also visit Top Station a very famous spot for tourists to indulge in the lush green meadows and water side attractions.

Day 5: Munnar to Thekkady (100 Km, 3:30 Hours) Weather: 22 °C
You will begin the day with a sumptuous breakfast after which they will be taken to Thekkady, another popular tourist destination in Idukki district. Thekkady is home to India's largest wildlife sanctuary, the Periyar Tiger Reserve. The Mullaperiyar dam which was built nearly 120 years ago is an attraction because of the catchment area created by the reservoir and the unique ecosystem of flora and fauna that inhabits the Periyar Tiger Reserve. The reserve is spread over an area of 777 Sq.Kms, while the surrounding artificial lake is spread over an area of 25 Sq. Kms.
Perched at an altitude of 700m above the sea level, Thekkady is a nature lovers’ paradise and You can partake in some adventurous sightseeing activities like jeep safari through Periyar reserve and bamboo rafting through the lake.
You will also enjoy an elephant ride as they take in the majestic views of the countryside. The first day at Thekkady will take them to great peaks like Calvary Mount and Anakkara. Art enthusiast can also get a special viewing of a Kathakali and Kalaripayuattu performance.

Day 6: Thekkady
The second day at Thekkady is for the adrenaline junkies. With a host of adventure filled activities like bamboo rafting, trekking through the Periyar Tiger Reserve and camping in the forest.

Day 7: Thekkady to Alleppey (150 Km, 4:00 Hours) Weather: 26 °C
Today, after breakfast you will begin his 150 km journey to what is popularly known as “The Venice of the East”, Aleppey. It is here that the famous backwaters of Kerala reside. With coconut palm lined canals that link up with the Vembanad lake and countryside brimming with everyday life, the town of Aleppey is a maze of canals and waterways that will leave you speechless. Also blessed with a long sandy beach, the region is one of the most popular destinations in Kerala.
