Periyar National Park, Thekkady
The Periyar National Park is situated in Thekkady, Idukki district of Kerala is renowned as one among the most bio diverse regions of the world. It is home to some magnificent creatures like tigers, elephants and birds like the Hornbill. Spread over an area of 257 square miles, the Periyar River and Pamba River flow through the park.
