Royal Mysore and Mystic Wayanad

Besides the obelisk in honour of the fallen, other landmarks in the fort include the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple and a mosque. The fort’s dungeon where British officers were held is another attraction. The dungeon is referred to as Colonel Bailey’s dungeon. Later drive up to the 1062 m high Chamundi hill to see the Chamundeshwari temple with a panoramic view of Mysore. On your way back, see the 5 m high Nandi Bull carved out of solid rock in 1659.
